Test Overview:
I. Each participant will have to perform all elements of the test.
II. The test will consist of the following elements consecutively:
a) Obstacle Course
b) Max Push ups
c) Max Sit ups
d) Max Pull ups (Flexed arm hang for females)
e) 1.5 Mile Run
This event is designed to challenge each cadet’s physical ability, endurance and determination through a test similar to any military physical training test.
III. A Gold “E” will be awarded to any cadet who maxes 4 out of 5 events. The Cadet with the highest combined score will be recognized at parent’s weekend as the most outstanding physically trained cadet in the Corps.

OFFICIAL RULES
1. TIMING: For all participants the clock will start when they cross the starting line and will stop once they complete the course. Participants must navigate all obstacles correctly and cross the finish line for the clock to stop.
2. ORDER: The order of the participants to begin the O’Course will be determined by the cadet’s most current run time entered into CMS. The individuals with the fastest time will go first. All participants will complete each event during the designated time before moving to the next event. The order of events will be:
a) Obstacle Course
b) Push ups
c) Sit ups
d) Pull Ups (Flexed arm hang for females)
e) 1.5 Mile Run
There will be approximately a 5 min break between the O’Course and Calisthenics events, and a 10 min break between Calisthenic events and the Run. There will be a water cooler on site, but individuals should plan on brining their own water bottles.
3. UNIFORM: Uniform for the competition will be C’s & T’s with outfit PT Shirts.
4. SUPERVISION/SAFETY: In the case of injury, the training officer will decide whether or not that person can continue the event. Their decision is final. In cases of disputes over timing or penalties, the training officer will resolve the issue. Corps Staff and a member of Commandants Staff will be located at the O’Course. Road guards will be posted along run route.
5. PENALTIES: Penalties are assessed in the form of time added to the event.
15 SECOND PENALTIES
1. Not negotiating an obstacle properly (45 seconds for the rope)
2. Minor safety rule violation (on-scene judge’s discretion)
DISQUALIFICATIONS
1. Not finishing event
2. Interfering with another cadet
3. Major safety rule violation (on-scene judge’s discretion)
6. SCORING: Awards will be based on times or number of repetitions completed. Points will be given to each participant as follows:
