I.     SITUATION:

II.    MISSION:
          The Corps of Cadets will travel to Waco and perform a March-In Parade on 15 November 2008.

College Station to the parking area

Take highway 6 North to Waco.  Outside of Waco, exit at E Loop 340, turn left and continue E Loop 340 to University Parks Drive.  Turn right at University Parks Drive and continue to the Waco Convention Center.

Parking area to Assembly Area

Turn left at Franklin Street and enter the South Parking lot of the Convention Center.  The Parking lot behind the Convention Center is available for parking.  There will also be parking available down Washington Street and up Franklin Street in assorted lots.  Cadets are asked to park in the South

Assembly area to end of March-In

The Corps will form up on Austin Street.  The Corps of Cadets will step off and continue down Austin Street until reaching the Convention Center.  OUTFITS WILL NOT BREAK UNTIL THEY HAVE MARCHED INTO THE PARKIN LOT.

B.  COORDINATION INSTRUCTIONS:

               1. UNIFORM.  Cadets will wear Summer Alphas with Garrison Covers.  C.O.'s and staffs will have Sam Brownes and Sabers. GUIDONS AND ANYONE WITH A SAM BROWNE AND SABER WILL WEAR WHITE GLOVES. Female cadets will wear trousers.  WALLETS WILL NOT BE WORN.  In the event of inclimate weather, the call will be made by Corps Staff whether or not to wear rain coats with campaign covers.

               4.  ROUTE OF MOVEMENT.  Corps Staff will form up at the intercetction of 13th  and Austin Street and center on Austin Street.  1st Wing and 2nd Wing will form up on 13th Street on the North side of Austin Street, Task Force and the Band will form up on 13th Street on the South Side of Austin Street.  2nd RGM will form up behind Corps Staff on Austin Street in between 13th and 14th Street.  1st BDE will form up behind 2nd RGM at the intersection of 14th and Austin Street. 2nd BDE and 3rd BDE will form up on 14th Street on the North side of Austin Street.  1st RGM and Galveston will form up on 14th Street on the South side of Austin Street.

IV. SERVICE SUPPORT:

  1. Medical: Advice cadets to hydrate.
  2. Supply: The following is a checklist of recommended and required items to bring for the March-In.

  1. Transportation:

Cadets need to provide their own transportation if they want to leave prior to 0800 Saturday, 15 November 2008.  Any Cadets that would like to come up Saturday morning will have the option to take A&M busses free of charge.  Cadets who wish to take busses must be present at 0800 for accountability.  The busses will leave from Duncan at 0830.  After the march-in, a group of busses will leave for College Station, and the second one will leave after the game.  The cadets taking the busses will ride the bus in Alpha’s; however, they will be allowed to remove the top to and from College Station.  Any cadet that signs up to ride a bus and does not show up will be met with severe consequences.  ALL CADETS WHETHER RIDING THE BUS OR NOT, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CHANGE IN THE PARKING

LOTS OR ANY OPEN AREAS.

 

  1. ATTENDANCE
    • Corps participation in the March-In is Mandatory
    • Commanding Officers are responsible for their unit’s participation in the Review
    • All military letters to miss should be turned in to major unit commanders.
